D-Link DEM-CB50ICX 50 cm Cable for connecting with CX4 devices (For DGS-3120 Series)
Part Number: DEM-CB50ICX
Description:
10G InfniBand Twinaxial Cables are designed to support high-speed
connections for 10Gbps Ethernet devices*. The series consists of five
models: the DEM-CB50, DEM-CB100, DEM-CB300, DEM-CB50ICX, and
DEM-CB300CX. The 10G InfniBand Twinaxial Cables are an ideal solution
for cost-effective, high-speed networking connectivity between D-Link
switches, and other devices within a rack or in adjacent racks.
Ideal for High-Bandwidth Operation
The D-Link 10G InfniBand Twinaxial Cables support speeds of up to
10Gbps over distances of up to 3 metres. This 10GBASE-CX4 cabling runs
over four pairs of twinaxial copper wiring, resulting in low latency,
and supports the InfniBand fabric’s quality of service (QoS) and
failover features. The result is an optimal solution for handling high
bandwidth transmission over short distances.
10GBASE-CX4 Connectors
The 10G InfniBand Twinaxial Cables use 4X InfniBand connectors with
screw or latch type plugs. The DEM-CB50, DEM-CB100, and DEM-CB300
feature screw-type connectors at both ends, and can be used as physical
stacking cables or uplink cables for D-Link’s DGS-3120 L2 Managed
Stackable Gigabit Switch series. The DEM-CB50ICX features a screw-type
connector at one end for connection to the DGS-3120 series, and a
latch-type connector at the other end for connection to the DMC-805X
media converter. The DEM-CB300CX features a latch-type connector at both
ends and can be used as a physical stacking cable for the DGS-3400
Series Advanced Layer 2+ Gigabit Switches and the accompanying DEM-410CX
module.
