The DGS-3000 Series Managed Gigabit Switches are advanced Layer 2 switches designed for high-performance Metro Ethernet and campus networks. They offer versatile connectivity with multiple port options, including RJ-45, 1G SFP, and 10G SFP+ ports, and select models provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering devices in remote locations.

These switches ensure efficient and resilient networking with features like 6 kV surge protection, Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) for rapid failover, and link aggregation for redundancy and load balancing.

With Quality of Service (QoS), they prioritize critical applications like VoIP and IP surveillance, ensuring smooth performance even during heavy traffic. Identity-driven policies enhance security by assigning access controls, VLANs, and QoS policies to authenticated users, while Microsoft NAP enforces compliance with health policies.

Manageability is streamlined with D-Link Single IP Management (SIM), allowing centralized control of multiple switches through a single IP. Additional management tools include a Web UI, SNMP, RMON, and SSH support.
