3 Series Switches D-Link DXS-3600 includes the new compact high-performance switches, performing switching and routing of traffic at speeds up to 10 Gbit / s. Height 1U and the ability to select the direction of ventilation (from the rear to the front or vice versa) make a series DXS-3600 is very convenient for use in the aggregation layer on campuses and in the workplace. DXS-3600-32S switch is equipped with 24 fixed 10GbE SFP + ports and can use more ports when adding expansion modules providing additional ports 10G SFP +.
Functional Use
DXS-switches 3600 provide high-performance 10-Gbps data transmission to the switch matrix 960 Gbit / s and the maximum speed at which the packages 714 million. The functions of the data center
Data Center Bridging (DCB) is a mandatory installation of extensions to Ethernet networking in the data center. DXS-3600 switches support several major components of DCB, such as IEEE 802.1Qbb, IEEE 802.1Qaz and IEEE 802.1Qau. IEEE 802.1Qbb (flow control on the basis of priorities) provides flow control for leveling data loss during network congestion. IEEE 802.1Qaz (Selection of extended transmission) manages the distribution of bandwidth among different traffic classes. IEEE 802.1Qau (Congestion Notification) provides congestion control for data flows within the network domain in order to prevent overload. DXS-3600 switches also support switching without buffering packets, which reduces the time delay in the transmission of data on the network.
Saving energy
Ability to select the direction of ventilation from the rear to the front, or vice versa provides maximum air conditioning for more efficient cooling of all systems that are mounted in a rack in data centers using switches. The switches are also equipped with built-in smart fans, internal temperature sensors that control the temperature change and react accordingly to the use of different fan speeds at different temperatures. At low temperatures, the fan speed is reduced, thereby reducing power consumption and reducing noise.
